It is a privilege to travel abroad, even more so to live and study in a foreign country. For two months, I have been given the opportunity to enrich my art and design studies by living in a Tuscan town called Cortona, in Italy. In addition to learning and studying in Cortona, our UGA cohort has visited Napoli, Roma, Pompeii, Tivoli, Siena, Caserta, Firenze, and Venezia. Here, I share photos, and memories from my time abroad. Learning in this capacity has changed my world view and expanded the lens in which I view life, art, culture and people around me.
